Forum Small and Medium Oil Refinery Plants - building an effective production and distribution scheme
16.06.2009
The Forum Small and Medium Oil Refinery Plants - building an effective production and distribution held on June 4-5 2009 was attended by the leaders, engineers and technicians of low-power oil refinery plants (up to 1 000 000 tons/year), as well as by the representatives of distribution organizations and the companies dealing with development of non-traditional methods of oil stock processing.
RusGazEngineering Group of Companies was represented by engineers and technicians Oleg Sarkisov and Alexey Vakulin. The results of the conference were summarized by Oleg Sarkisov: «The major conclusion and the result of the two day's work during the conference is the understanding of the fact that today it is unpractical to put money into construction of low-power oil refinery plants; it is necessary to orientate the newly built oil refineries on producing the maximum volume of diesel fuel; in case of favorable composition of stock it is necessary to consider variants of processing involving bitumen facilities and delayed coking units. In the process of oil refinery development the processing depth should not be lower than 75 %».
